A focused approach

Just some thoughts/observations.
This is a post I've wanted to make for a while, but haven't been brave enough to post. It isn't a trolling post, and really hope it isn't taken that way, and doesn't get me banned.
Let me start this post with, I have great respect and REALLY DO appreciate all of the information/knowledge that Chris has and is freely distributing, as well as information from all the other builders in the forum, a BIG thank you.
As some of you may know my background is in the hospitality industry, more precisely cooking, and when training we aren't thrown into a room with a thousand ingredients, and equipment and told make.... (whatever).
We are taught the 'classic' recipe and method and then once you have mastered the 'classic' you can then from there start to experiment.
This to me seems to be a very important missing part of what is happening in this forum.
I really, really want to start building, but where to start?
Going through all the posts with regard to bucking coils there are (for a beginner) just SO many variables.
For someone like myself starting it would be great if there were an agreed upon exact list of components, a "recipe" if you will.
It also makes sense for problem solving for everyone to be using EXACTLY the same components, built in exactly the same manner. That way each part of the process could be perfected, and a "to do" list could be created for the questions that still need to be answered, with all the resources of those that are builders focused on that particular "to do" until solved, a more "focused approach" if you will, and a basic recipe created, which could then be used to build upon.
Maybe even simple proof of concept kits could be manufactured and sold to help the ongoing funding of the forum, and maybe even help to reimburse Chris for some of the thousands of dollars he has spent in search of answers.
Just a thought.....

Hey mrblobby

your suggestion make some sense for me, although there are already some guidelines how to begin experimenting and also about some basic equipment required, the quantity of information is becoming huge and might be confusing for beginners. Maybe we could work out a "get Started " tutorial with some suggested basic experiments (mrPreva , POC), to get  some understanding and "Feeling" for some Important basic principals.

Regarding the experimenting kits I'm working on part of it already with the modular switching tool, some more parts could be added to make it more  complete. Anyway the first step has to be made by the attempting researcher, It will hardly happen to get everything readymade available related to this technologies, at least for the moment.

Hey MrBlobby,

Not trolling, a good question and sensible!

It would be wonderful to have things work this way. A Cookbook of How too's. There are to many variables and of course variations that work. Not one variation is the only variation. If you get my drift.

For example, Don Smith Floyd Sweet Tariel Kapanadze and many others, just look at the different variations shown over the many decades!

If one were to take the time and look through my early videos, one would notice my Three Coiler small Ferrite Core machine was by far my most popular. I learnt the most from this small cheap and extremely simple apparatus.

My Building of a badly designed H-Bridge was perhaps one small kick start. It taught me that there is something to the non synchronized switching that Electronics Engineers are taught or even brainwashed in. We saw some of this in the Graham Gunderson work.

So, a straight answer: Start Small, start simple and start with something you can learn some very basic things from and slowly advance. I have said this many times before in many places.

Some, the Trolls normally, make an initial demand, they want the device with measurements immediately in front of them.

I work the other way, if people want it, they have to learn how to do it, because simply, without the needed knowledge, people are swimming up hill without a paddle if you know what I mean!

Very simply, simple facts always win over greedy demands.

What is a Scalar:

In physics, scalars are physical quantities that are unaffected by changes to a vector space basis. Scalars are often accompanied by units of measurement, as in "10 cm". Examples of scalar quantities are mass, distance, charge, volume, time, speed, and the magnitude of physical vectors in general.

You need to forget the Non-Sense that some spout with out knowing the actual Definition of the word Scalar! Some people talk absolute Bull Sh*t!

The pressure P in the formula P = pgh, pgh is a scalar that tells you the amount of this squashing force per unit area in a fluid.

A Scalar, having both direction and magnitude, can be anything! The Magnetic Field, a Charge moving, yet some Numb Nuts think it means Magic Science!

The great Nikola Tesla:

Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. This idea is not novel. Men have been led to it long ago by instinct or reason. It has been expressed in many ways, and in many places, in the history of old and new. We find it in the delightful myth of Antheus, who drives power from the earth; we find it among the subtle speculations of one of your splendid mathematicians, and in many hints and statements of thinkers of the present time. Throughout space there is energy. Is this energy static or kinetic? If static, our hopes are in vain; if kinetic - and this we know it is for certain - then it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature.
