Show me how fast you can work!

EDIT:

Hi All, perhaps you can post Site Time Out issues to this thread? E.G: When you go to post and the post fails or asks to log back in again. There is a default time out, this is normal, but if you just login, read then post and if the Time Out happens this is a problem!

That would be awesome if you could?

The time, would also be helpful, with location, for Time ID.

We have had a lot of issues in the past, and there are improvements, so I hope we have a good run from now on!

I just finished an Advanced Network Forensics course with SANS last week.  I'm a cybersecurity specialist in my day job.  If you would like any security consultation, etc., for this forum, please feel free to PM me.

No idea, I would guess fairly short say 30-60 minutes. Hopefully I don't take longer than that to put together a post. But if test_crazy isnt able to reproduce it then maybe its fixed. Will capture a screenshot next time it happens. As I recall when it breaks it also throws up an ASP.NET error page.

I typed this message about an hour ago and went afk just to see. If you are reading this then it means that it didn't error out.

Hi Zanzal - This platform we are using is MVCForum.

We have used this exact same software before. Microsoft uses this same software as do many other companies, TNT, XIM and others.

The software itself is not buggy. It is fairly well refined.

We have been targeted by Amateur Hackers, as I mentioned, and we seem to be having other on going issues.

Sadly I have to report, we appear to have lost some posts.

Crazy Domains have upgraded our Hosting, but in the process some posts have been lost. I hope we will finally have a successful result to the site timeouts we have all experienced!

Again I am very sorry, I have tried to have this fixed for sometime now!

I have take the habitude to copy my text before clicking this button...

The issue as far as I can determine is that if you take too long to write a post the session times out. When you hit post and the session has timed out it asks you to login, but even if you log back in your post will be gone. The back button doesn't bring it back as the forum software needed to have saved a history entry in the browser from before the post action took place. Since that doesn't happen the post is just gone.

Hi All, does anyone else have such timeouts? Problem occur even you're select 'Remember me'?

I was not able to reproduce it on my side, already logged for last 4 hours.

Chris posted this 14 June 2017

Hi Zanzal, yes exactly. The time to log out, what would you estimate your Time Out to be?

Approximately?

Chris posted this 15 June 2017

Thanks Zanzal - 20 minutes is a normal/default Time Out, this is an, In Page, no Activity, Time Out.

Wistiti, I think You had an issue also, can you share any info?

Hi Wistiti - Didn't you send me a PM about the site and not being able to post? Kept asking for a Login?

The problem is better now, we used to see the problem all the time, not so much now.

Anyway, let us know, please post Timeout problems if you have them.

Test message.

Does this problem is back?

Zanzal posted this 10 August 2017

The site has been behaving badly. I've lost 3-4 posts over the last week or so. Sometimes it acts out of sync internally.. Like if someone posts something with attachments, and you try to download them too soon after being posted, they aren't available to download and the browser opens a blank page. Or you go to reply and then it acts like the post you are replying too doesn't exist yet and eats your post. (Maybe when I press add post this message will disappear forever.)

Yes, I concur, its been bad in the last few days. Very frustrating.

Thank You Crazy Domains for actioning this as quickly as you have!

To all, some amateur has been trying to hack us. Seems for some time.

On going issues with Timeouts on the Site, causing Posts to be lost are still being worked on.

Please all, post your trouble here so we can keep track of it.

Zanzal posted this 24 August 2017

More posts lost. Personally though Chris, I don't blame you for it. It is clear to me that it is a software defect that is beyond your control. This is not a hardware, networking or configuration problem. Its just buggy software.

Zanzal posted this 12 September 2017

Another post lost forever.

Chris posted this 12 September 2017

Yes they are back again - I have people looking into it now.

The last four times I've tried to post, every post resulted in an error. The first three  times I remembered to save my post in the clipboard, so I was able to login and quickly repost, but it seems like this problem is becoming more frequent. Is anyone else seeing a surge in issues creating posts?

Chris posted this 04 October 2017

I am so sorry guys!

Some one, or something (NSA (Naked Sausage Addicts)) is interfering with our work!

Wistiti, we are using the exact same software from our last website (builders.hyiq.org) - We never had any problems did we?

We are having huge problems, I have had a lot of internal problems also, Hardware failing like never before, ever!

I have rebuild my internal network several times lately because of issues. Costing time and money.

I think I will look at a temporary site, hosted else where for a short time, so I can monitor better and not have to worry about hosting issues.

Thank you for your patience guys, and sorry for the problems!

What is a Scalar:

In physics, scalars are physical quantities that are unaffected by changes to a vector space basis. Scalars are often accompanied by units of measurement, as in "10 cm". Examples of scalar quantities are mass, distance, charge, volume, time, speed, and the magnitude of physical vectors in general.

You need to forget the Non-Sense that some spout with out knowing the actual Definition of the word Scalar! Some people talk absolute Bull Sh*t!

The pressure P in the formula P = pgh, pgh is a scalar that tells you the amount of this squashing force per unit area in a fluid.

A Scalar, having both direction and magnitude, can be anything! The Magnetic Field, a Charge moving, yet some Numb Nuts think it means Magic Science!

The great Nikola Tesla:

Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. This idea is not novel. Men have been led to it long ago by instinct or reason. It has been expressed in many ways, and in many places, in the history of old and new. We find it in the delightful myth of Antheus, who drives power from the earth; we find it among the subtle speculations of one of your splendid mathematicians, and in many hints and statements of thinkers of the present time. Throughout space there is energy. Is this energy static or kinetic? If static, our hopes are in vain; if kinetic - and this we know it is for certain - then it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature.
