Trouble Downloading Pages

Hello everyone

I know that this is not the right place to put this post but couldn't find a thread that suited. Does anyone else have trouble downloading pages from this site? I have no problem downloading from anywhere else or even attached files from this site but not the whole page. I live out of town with no phone or internet access and only come to town a couple of times a week so downloading a whole thread and digesting it at leasure is my only means of learning. Also I tried to upload some photo's and because they are over 2mb it was not allowed. I am sure this was dealt with a while ago but couldn't find the posts concerning it. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, I'm glad the problem is solved.

Not your computer, just Firefox is showing that error when it shouldn't, seems it's a bug which most probably they'll fix it in the next versions.

Fighter .it seems you are right,and my computer is telling lies. I went into my downloads and found that all the pages were there.

Hey Fighter, i also use firefox, and my hyiq downloads have been going trouble free, - however i am using 2017 version of firefox, ESR 52.41

may i suggest,  in

windows/system32/drivers/etc/  there is a file called hosts, and you can hardware reroute the dns / IP address's for various hosts. - so tell firefox updater for EG, too go f itself, - quite literally. - by directing it back too itself.

if you add, the following entries into the hosts file, - it will do just that, and simply not even try too run updates.

127.0.0.1 www.mozilla.org
127.0.0.1 download.cdn.mozilla.net
127.0.0.1 aus5.mozilla.org
127.0.0.1 download.mozilla.org

these are the ones too prevent updates. although i recommend doing this, only after you have got it working.and that is another problem (s) beyond my pay grade.

Just tried in Firefox, downloaded the ZPM thread; it's true Firefox says "download failed" but when I open "Romanian ZPM (Zero Point Module).html" and check the content everything looks fine; try to open the download result and check, that Firefox message could be only a bug or something like that.

Note: my default download location for Firefox is set to "C:\Users\<myuser>\Desktop" folder, all the downloads are saved directly on my desktop.

Try printing the page to PDF, Windows 10 has a building Microsoft PDF Writer:

when I try to download a page and go to read it I get a message ''download failed''. I have firefox and windows 10.

What sort of problems do you have? Slow? Not loading at all?

The pressure P in the formula P = pgh, pgh is a scalar that tells you the amount of this squashing force per unit area in a fluid.

A Scalar, having both direction and magnitude, can be anything! The Magnetic Field, a Charge moving, yet some Numb Nuts think it means Magic Science!
