Making Burnable Fuels at Home - Petroleum Replacement

My Friends,

Truth is, most cant afford Electric Vehicles! Petroleum will be here with us, for a bit longer yet!

We are all being EXTORTED by Petroleum Prices! Thats for sure!

Here in Australia, march 2019, Fuel was 90c a litre, they are saying petrol will be $3 or more by mid year! Rediculous! Currently we are $1:90 a litre! Rip Off!

So, lets work to take the Power Away from them, and make them obsolete, by circumventing them entirely, by making our OWN Fuel!

Petroleum is a Hydrocarbon.

The Petroleum Hydrocarbon follows the Molecule Structure:

For a given Octane.

Making Burnable Fuel

A few different methods exist to do this, one you will be somewhat familiar with, is Distilling! Making Alcohol and Distilling it untill it becomes stronger and stronger. The Alcohol Molecule Structure is as follows:

Ethanol

Ethanol and Alcohol are the same, and they have the same physical and chemical properties. Ethanol is a type of Alcohol, and the two are formed by the fermentation of glucose by enzymes in yeast. ( Sugar and Yeast ) Alcohol is any chemical having an OH functional group.

Ethanol, C2H6O, contains two carbons and an oxygen, However, the structural formula of ethanol, C2H5OH, provides a little more detail, and indicates that there is an hydroxyl group ( -OH ) at the end of the 2-carbon chain:

Pure ethanol, or 100% ethanol or E100, could theoretically be used to run most Automotive Vehicle Engines, but generally isn't, for numerous reasons: Ethanol is not as good as petroleum for cold-starting, because it doesn't burn as quickly as petroleum. The differences are very small:

Biodiesel is another form of Hydrocarbon! Biodiesel has a Molecule Structure:

Why Compost

The garden needs specific Neutrients, we have covered this here: Plant Nutrients, keep them healthy!

I will list the basic Neutrients again for your benefit:

There are 16 elements essential to growth of plants:

Supplied by air and water:
- Carbon (C)
- Hydrogen (H)
- Oxygen (O)
Macronutrients:
- Nitrogen (N)
- Phosphorous (P)
- Potassium (K)
Secondary Nutrients:
- Calcium (Ca)
- Magnesium (Mg)
- Sulfur (S)
Micronutrients:
- Boron (B)
- Chlorine (Cl)
- Copper (Cu)
- Iron (Fe)
- Manganese (Mn)
- Molybdenum (Mo)
- Zinc (Zn)

Compost can give you many of these Neurtients, without having to buy Neutrients, and also it is good to recycle the Greens and Browns.

Dont add Dairy, Meat and Wheat.

Fire Ash can also be added.

I have a Compost System, and I am working, slowly on my Garden at the moment. This sort of stuff, learning about the Garden, is very rewarding when you can pick fresh fruit and vegatables.

What are Hydrosols?

Hydrosols are sometimes referred to as hydrolats, distillate waters or floral waters.

Explained as simply as possible, a hydrosol is the aromatic water that remains after steam-distilling or hydro-distilling botanical material such as lavender.

Oils can be very beneficial in many areas including Health, Relaxation, Meditation and many more!

Cheap easy and simple!
