Gd day friends, I'm running a new experiment in paralell with Chris' non inductive coil replication so i will be sharing results from both from now. I have gained more knowledge about magnetic fields from Chris' non inductive coil replication. I have decided to open a new thread about MEG replication. I have read the JLN replication notes and his results are impressive, i read the MEG patent too and I also went through Chris's Meg replication. I'm sharing my experiment results and I welcome all advices. The core I'm using is nanocrystaline core type KMNC-100.
Input coils 150 turns on each. Output coils 500 turns on each Neodymium magnets at the centre.
Input pulses; I'm sending square waves at the input coils at around 50% dutycycle.
One side of the output coil is loaded with a 25W 250V incandescent bulb, the other output coil has metal Oxide Varistor rated at ..460volts. iam looking for what the Meg responds best with i have several MOVs rated at different voltages to test. I also observed currents in the output coils.
The currents on each of the output coils are very low, but i was able to light a 25W bulb.
I am looking at currents on the output coils, Yellow trace is current on the output coil with the MOV and purple trace is the current on the other output coil that is loaded with a 25W(240V) bulb. My goal is to get waveforms (sine waves) on the output that are similar to what JLN labs presented in his replication. Any input or advise to this is welcome. BR. Madscientist.
