My Friends,

I have the worlds WORST Internet Connection, and one person in particular has been Scraping Hundreds of Thousands of Page Requests, Images, Downloads including Videos and any and all data the Scraper can get!

You're wasting My Time and your own by doing this! And its the busiest time of Year!!! Christmas, when EVERYONE has some time to learn!

My Website is over 25Gb!

At the speed you're Scraping, its going to take about a Decade to copy the data and in the meantime, no one can access My Websites and they pretty much become useless to ALL Members and Readers!

I am really angry that a single person thinks they have the right to STOP Everything for Everyone else just because they want a Local Copy of the Website, which as time goes on, has only so much use anyway!

I am so angry about this! I have extremely slow internet!

No wonder My Internet has become totally USELESS in the last Week or two!

Damn it, STOP! I will NOT HESITATE To entirely Block you! I will just redirect your IP to a XXX Site if you keep going! I am monitoring this Right now and for now on!

No wonder my Website goes offline every 5 Minutes! It is a DAMNED Delicate affair in the first place, just to get this Site Running for you, and its being abused by this person!

I wont mind so much when I get Starlink, then the Bandwidth will be much better! Even so, Stopping everything for everyone else and the Site Crashing every 5 minutes is a really selfish thing to do! I have spent so much time investigating the Terrible Slowness and Crashing! What a WASTE of TIME!

I am SO ANGRY about this!

Hello friends.

Sorry for the situation @Chris and I hope that the Starlink that you have ordered couple of months ago, will arrive with success at your home.

I share @Fighter's opinion, and I am sure that this was only a misunderstanding with the suggestions that you have us months ago,in doing copies of the website.

Cd_sharp has quality posts here and I am sure he is a honest person.(no malicious intent there)

*as a small suggestion,

What do you guys think about creating a Telegram group or some alternative place to "hang out " and discuss what is going on when the server here is down.

A backup plan is always good. I want to tell everybody that the information here and the work done here is like Diamond level +++ , however it is my Humble opinion that what matters more than this,is that we stay together. In the last 2 years because of manipulation,I have seen so much distance between people..but hey,I think that was the plan.

Divide and conquer. We must stay together and help one another, this is the only way.

Stay safe team !

Hey Guys,

I am over the Cranky, I had, its ok, I don't hold a Grudge!

I think a more logical approach is best, looking after the little bandwidth I have is a better long term option isn't it? Then Everyone gets pages in a reasonable time frame, right?

I mean look at it this way, if one has a Hose that gives 1 liter an hour, we definitely don't want any leaks in the hose that drops the 1 liter an hour to 1 liter a week, do we! Lets look after what Bandwidth I do have so everyone can enjoy the Content, Please!

It is easy to panic and think a full copy of the site is the best option, but its simply not practical on a bandwidth of 0.30mbps is it?

I have posted progress on Starlink in the thread: Site Slow and some Dropouts - Your Help so I do not wish to continue to repeat myself here. All I want to say is: "Starlink is coming".

EDIT:

Please report any issues you may have, with Page Serving. I have blocked 30 Bots and set Concurrent User Request Limits to what I think is a reasonable number. There maybe limits that may be too restrictive, so please let me know if you have any General Browsing Issues!

For me, and via Web Proxy, I feel its faster already! This has been a very enlightening exercise, that's for sure! Definitely I see results, average ping over time is much better also!

Best Wishes,

   Chris

My Friends,

I wish to point out, Rules to our Tier III Elite Builders Club:

How about this, new rules for Tier III:

  • No Sharing outside Tier III.
  • Be Honest at all times!
  • Must Share Work that helps the community, including me!
  • Must not post information that cannot be verified and proven!
  • Must give others credit for the work they have provided, that inspired your work!
  • No Patenting work we share amongst each other!
  • No Intellectual Property rights, we all own this Technology!
  • No Profit at all, to be made on this Technology, other than getting paid to help others succeed / build their own AU Machines.
  • No leaking of information to outsiders until authorised by other members here.
  • Tier II members can only become Tier III? Members from Tier I can not?
  • A Tier III member can decide if/when he can go public with HIS OWN experiment/device shared here.

These Rules were broken!

In Tier III, long standing members, that appeared to have been contributing to the advancement of Free Energy Machines, for ALL of HUMANITY, have broken the rules they agreed to, and are activelly sharing My Experiment/Replication and Hiding Information. What they do is their choice! But understand, we, Aboveunity.com, have always been a Open Source, Public Platform, only hiding advanced Experiments, never Hiding necessary Information to attain Free Energy Machines! Anyone can do this! Aboveunity.com Freely Provides all necessary information!

What has occured on this Thread, I have made Public, so everyone can see what has occured, so others can make their own minds up as to what has occured here!

Some may pin the word: Sabotage, or Infiltration, to this thread?

I have trust issues, with people, some may say somewhat Street Hardened, or Thick Skined, but I want every reader to understand the implications and the gravity of what has occured here! I am sure no one can blame me for having Trust issues with people after what others can see on this thread! This is one of many situations that I have been placed into, by others.

My Plan does not require me to have the complete trust of anyone, but does require the wish of Humanity to Free themselves from the Grip of Evil! They, the people that have been actively hiding this Technology from you for Decades, are Evil! Sheep no more, for the Meek shall Inherit the Earth, the Masters of Evil will inherit a Pitch Black Pit!

I believe I have been guided, and right now, the time is not right for more, to many are still fooled by Evil and carry out Evil Deeds! Although, we have threads here with lots of progress, the end goal is still some time away. Evolution does not occur over night, people must be ready to take steps into the Light for them selves, and we have done the best we can to provide a means for opening Doors!

Good people here, are a shining light for others, wishing to break Free of the Misery of Globalism and Population Control! Those good people here, are Leaders!

The Self Elected Sheppards will be Exposed and Banned, for Humanity is No Heard, we are Free and Powerful Beings that Cannot be Controlled! Free Will will over come all Evil! Eventually!

Best Wishes,

   Chris

Hi all

I was banned from tier2 of the other site (Pro Board) because it seems I was no longer posting to their site and LIKED and approved what Chris was saying. And I was told that I had a problem if I stayed on their site.

WOW I am a free person and responsible for my actions and my words, the administrators of the other backup site are very aggressive and do not let their members decide what they like or dislike,a real shame.

I prefer to stop from saying more out of respect for all. Sorry to bother you with this, Let's forget this misadventure and continue my research on Aboveunity.com and we move on.

Hey, guys, my apologies to everyone. I thought it would be a good thing to have a read only AU.com that we could easily update periodically. I hope everyone is aware of the downtime and that has been an ongoing issue for the last months. That is what I wanted to solve. Chris, honestly, I was the one telling you what I was doing. You did not find this issue from the logs. What that tells you? Am I your friend or just a selfish, arrogant person you are describing above? Sorry about any incovenience! Stay strong!

Hi Chris,

Cd_Sharp just followed instructions from your post "I may not be here forever", if I remember well the title.

There you asked us to make copies of the data from the site or we may lose it forever.

I also immediately started to make copies of the threads manually.

I was talking to Cd_Sharp about this and he started the scraping process and I offered a hosting solution on my web server (which is temporary offline for now) for the static pages as a sub-domain of my domain (blue-software.com) if there will be necessary.

This was not a malicious action and it was made with good intentions (for saving the data just in case we gonna need it).

Sorry for affecting the bandwidth but it was the only possible way to get and save the data.

Best regards,

Fighter

Hope you are doing well, it takes a lot of patience to operate a web site like here.
Thank you for what you do, I really appreciate it.

Hello Chris and Friends,

I was shocked that two weeks had passed since I was here last time. Have trouble marking time since retirement. Anyhow, the site popped up in less than a second for me. Almost no lag time for the full load. Just after noon EST in US. Sweet.

I read the entire thread again and it is indeed sad. However, rules are made for specific reasons, not for the fun of it. I like rules because they set the boundaries of the course being taken. Like road cones in a construction zone to keep everyone safe. Going backwards in time isn't really possible so we always go forward.

Question, can I just put a link to a video in a post without having the video imbedded in the post directly? I'm thinking bandwidth on this. When I click a link, my browser is set to open it in a new tab, so I don't actually leave the site I'm on and can go back to where I was easily. Just thinking. I don't see that as an actual inconvenience for me. Others may feel differently of course... I know this sounds stupid coming from me since I've posted almost nothing of my work as of yet. I deleted my crappy video because it was irritating to watch. I want to do better than that and really don't want to waste anybody's time.

Glorious Days,

Dale

Hey CD,

I am angry about this, I have spent hours trying to find out what was going on, and fixing on going problems! I have a very delicate setup!

I have made it perfectly clear to everyone, Here, that I have a terrible internet connection and to please watch Bandwidth. Recently I asked you not to upload Videos through the file manager for the very same reason.

I did not use the word Arrogant, did I? Selfish, I might of.

I accept your apology and I hope you understand my terrible, very Time Consuming Situation! Yes, I consider you as My Friend! Friends can get a bit Cranky over things like this, as long as they can see eye to eye and make a mends over the problem? I hope so!

I spend a LOT of time making sure this Website and other Websites are running, and its very hard when these sorts of problems arise. So I hope you understand my frustration, which I am now over!

When Starlink finally arrives, we will be way better off! I hope soon!

Best Wishes,

I see it as a warning, it is a thing not to do, and it's good to say it.

I don't blame you at all CD, Chris has the moderator's job and it is not easy and he has to be equal with all, that's what you did.
CD and Chris, we need you two on this forum, each has an important role to play and the most important thing is that we talk to each other.

I hope CD you will come back with us because I see you as a friend and a good experimenter.

My Friends,

I agree with Jagau, CD is a welcome Member, if he chooses?

Fact of the matter is, if one looks at the data:

  • Now Identified: 49+ Bots or Scrapers Identified in 10 Days!
  • 270,374 Requests in 10 Days!
  • My Upload Bandwidth: 0.3 Mbps was reduced to nothing!
  • I am sure All Readers have had terrible trouble Viewing My Forum in the last 10 Days!
  • On a Hard Wired PC, 7 of 10 Pages could not be displayed on My Network in the last 10 Days!
  • All Readers know my situation!
  • and the list goes on!

I have no issue with people Printing to pdf, pages on My Forum, I am fine with that!

I ask all Members and Readers for a Fair Use Agreement, please think of others! All I expect is a Fair and Thoughtful use of My Forum! I spend lots of Time and Money keeping this Forum Running for Everyone!

Bots and Scrapers ARE being Monitored now and will be Blocked asap! This is being monitored by IP, and Page Requests! Do the wrong thing and I WILL shut you down permanently! This Forum is for Everyone!

NOTE: Bots and Scrapers do not show up in the: RevolverMaps because they do not Render Javascript, or any other scripts. This means, only Unique IP Address Visits with Page Rendering are logged in this App.

Definitely there is an improvement on performance compared to only a few days ago! Much faster and more responsive! Faster Internet connection will be awesome! Cant wait for Starlink!

I am really not asking for much at all, all website owners can feel the Logic Here!

Best Wishes,

   Chris

My Friends,

From time to time, 8pm approx last night aest, a few drop outs, but stable again after that!

I would estimate a 1000% improvement of stability and site access after blocking some IP's and Dozens of Bots!

I would like to hear others opinions on this also.

Best Wishes,

Chris my freind, I'm sorry but I disagree with your last statement...

I'm still thinking CD , Fighters and some others merit their place and respect here... they have shared freely their precious time and effort with the teams members. I don't think they are some kind of troll or suspect people. I think they deserve way more than many followers here who stay quiet and just look without sharing.

Please my freind, keep the team strong!

Chris posted this 21 January 2022

My Friends,

I try to have Eyes and Ears everywhere, makes for easier monitoring and close study of things I need to keep an eye on.

Yes I have had Death Threats, but the last one turned out just to be a Friend that turned out to be a Nut Case, the thread I created was Promptly Deleted, making it Invalid, and an explanation was given:

Recently, someone I thought was a Friend, and I, had a falling out. This Friend was a Personal Friend and not a part of the Forum! The pressures of life and living, I guess just got too much? Some very serious Threats were made toward me. Later, they were retracted.

I try to forgive and forget, its not always an easy thing to do!

I believe the world is going Crazy! You can see it everywhere now! On the Other Forums, they have totally lost the plot! Not a single iota of Direction at all! Lost in the Winds of Bull Sh*t!

A Majority of people are looking for Direction, they have entirely lost hope in their Elected Leaders and the self proclaimed, NON-Elected Leaders!

My Friends, some Advice, if I may:

Look within! Be your Own Leader and let no one ever lead you!

What should be SIMPLE, is turned into Total Non-Sense by those trying to Spread Disinformation:

Ref: Charge Sepperation - 4 weeks ago, and guess who read it!

A move of desperation to use a Known Non-Event to get what you want, very sad, and all for a following, and then to use information I provided, My Website, to hide little experiments from the public, how sad!

I am not putting up with this sort of behaviour, I am pleased I Banned them, and am please they are gone, let them Plagerise My Website, Everyone knows it mine, and they still have nothing! Let them break the Rules they agreed to, they wont be aloud back! Not after what they have done!

Their total Contributions were small to none anyway! How many Experiments of value did they share?

Now they have been Banned and I have solved the Leaching of Information, we have more visits a day then ever before! 10,000 IP Visits in the last 24 hours! Site Stability is at an all time high since the Reconnection and everyone here is much better off for what has occured!

Dont forget: DATESTAMPS, they prove who's information it really is! Let them make Wild Accusations and Claims!

Those that have seen what they are saying will understand this post, those that have not, may see this post as unnecessary, so please dissregard this post if you have not read what they are saying. Again, there can be no Team if Progress = 0. Here, we push the Envelope every day! Progress = ⇑. We pretty much have rendered the other Forums Obsolete!

It is now time to move on, Onward and Upward!

Best Wishes,

   Chris

Hi ISLab,

Re:

Why not make all anonymous access open only for the landing page, and make further viewing subject to registration and login? Would that perhaps help to control misuse?

I agree, and this is what Jagau and I have been talking about! We have thought about making all public access subject to login, but this will only help fight against those that may not know the content.

Ideally, I want all public access to the data.

Having a login access only to date makes the very action of Registration subject to the trust of Genuine People, and we still can't guarantee this.

I think the best action to take is to expose the perpetrators of these issues and show how hard they are trying to stop us!

People then will see, what we have is very valuable and very important! None have come close, we have 99.99% of the answers here, and its up to people to make the connections and take action on Evolutionary processes forward.

I have had massive amount of trouble from Day One, which I expected and tried to show for what it was. Most people can see this for what it is, and this very action gives our effort here Creedance and a sense of Genuine achievement!

The names may change, but the effort to stop us has not. The entities remain, under different names, and or different groups.

Time and free will is on our side, not on theirs!

Best Wishes,

Hey Guys,

The Solution is Starlink, or another Service similar, if Starlink ends up becoming a Waste of Time.

We have a lot of problems, the Database is SQL, so more than one Copy that is not Distributed, or Clustererd, will result in major issues if the Website has multiple copies each running different Databases. All data needs to be the same everywhere, or people will become confused and see issues with consistency!

My Friends, Patience, Starlink is coming according to the Account at Starlink. It should be here soon!

Managing the Bandwidth untill then is important, we are getting a very large number of Visits from people now, so its a case of keep doing the best we can unitll I can impliment a better solution!

I know its frustrating and I am sorry for Slowness and Downtime. CD, you got 115412 Site Request / Responses, and nearly 10Gb Downloaded, if we can limit this sort of thing then, Bandwidth will be much better for Users. Youre not the only one doing this, I have found other users also Scraping My Site! I am in the process of Identifying them blocking them now!

Best Wishes,

   Chris

Chris posted this 01 January 2022

My Friends,

As it turns out, we have had at least FIVE Bots sucking all my Bandwidth out and I have blocked all so far! This does not include the Search Engines, like Google and DuckduckGo!

I am monitoring and will keep an eye on this sort of behaviour!

This time of year, one cant help but ask:

"Is this Malicious Behavior to stop my Site Serving Pages, like a DDOS Attack"

I have noticed a progressively worse speed and Site Serving delay in the last few days / weeks! I simply do not believe in these sorts of Coincidences!

Best Wishes,

   Chris

P.S: The extent of this is staggering! With some more investigation, the page requests by BOTS is unbelievable!

@CD,

In the thread: Site Slow and some Dropouts - Your Help I already  explained there will be Dropouts! Again, I have a very Delicate setup just to bring you Aboveunity.com and hyiq.org.

Right at the moment, I am doing everything I can to minimise the Down Time!

I have build Software that detects Connection Issues and automatically Reconnects and logs the issues:

2/01/2022 6:08:41 AM: Network Interface: VPN Connected!
2/01/2022 2:21:08 PM: Network Interface: VPN Disconnected!
2/01/2022 2:21:19 PM: Connecting to VPN...
2/01/2022 2:21:19 PM: Remote Access error 868 - The remote connection was not made because the name of the remote access server did not resolve.
2/01/2022 2:21:19 PM: For more help on this error:
2/01/2022 2:21:19 PM: Type 'hh netcfg.chm'
2/01/2022 2:21:19 PM: In help, click Troubleshooting, then Error Messages, then 868

I wish this was not so difficult but I have done the best I can with what was avaliable, untill a better option is avaliable, this is better than nothing at all!

I ask you to please be patient and think of the over all situation, and not the negative side of this situation so much.

@Scalarpotential - Thank You and yes I have put a robots.txt file in place, but fint that it is not as effective as doing a full Bot Block, that way no pages are served, or txt files are served at all.

Yes some bots are Melicious! From the logs above, you can see some do not even have a name, some use standard Browser User Agent String: "Mozilla/5.0+(Windows;+U;+Windows+NT+5.0;+en-US;+rv:1.1)+Gecko/20020826" and "Mozilla/5.0+(Windows+NT+10.0;+Win64;+x64;+rv:95.0)+Gecko/20100101+Firefox/95.0". Some are not conforming to Crawler Standard at all! Yes we have had a Melicious Attack of Evil Robots!

Personally, I believe we were attacked to make Christmas Period unuseable for people, the busiest time of year! We have had more traffic in the last few months than ever before and we were crippled during the most productive time of year when everyone has some time off to look for answers!

Best Wishes,

   Chris

Hosting video's maybe wasn't a good idea, they are redownloaded each time a thread is visited, the poison thread downloaded 240MB (or 158MB  transferred) per visit, that should be 7MB for a forum.

Btw CD_sharp's idea of a  read-only mirror to save you on bandwidth wasn't a bad idea.

Fighter posted this 04 January 2022

Hello Chris,

Let's put this in a different perspective, one which you don't know and seems you never thought about it.

We had AboveUnity down before unexpectedly for 7 months. You know what everyone regretted then ? The fact we didn't had a copy of it and we all were sure all the information is gone forever and we all thought maybe something happened to you.

Do you know how it is to try to scrap and put together bits of information from Wayback Machine and never being able to put at least a single complete thread together ? That's the reason I always asked to have a backup just in case that happens.

Because here is also our contribution, our experiments, everything. And having all this in a single location is an ideal way for "them" to make it disappear forever. And it almost happened !

You know at that time Cd_Sharp and me tried desperately to find out if you are still alive and to contact you ? And he offered to pay half of the phone bill if the calls to Australia will be too expensive for me ? I don't know if you ever checked your old answering machine for the phone number ending with 0912, probably not, but there is a message from me: "Hello Chris, this is Fighter, please contact us, we're really worried about you. thank you".

That's the guy you insulted these days.

The reason ? You told us that what happened in the past is possible to happen again and now we could lose the information forever. And that we should save it. Now seriously, who do you think would print entire threads (with videos) or the entire site ? Just to fill his room with tens of thousands of papers ? And how useful would be to have some mountains of papers in your room ?

The only solution was to save static pages. The ONLY logical solution. So we don't go again in dark for half of year or maybe (who knows ?) forever ! Because here is our work too, the work of every member. So we have something to share with the team members later if something like this happens again.

Of course, this had the potential to affect the bandwidth and some members to experience interruptions, but when there is possible that soon the site could go down again for a long time what do you think those members would prefer ? To not have possible interruption while they're browsing the site temporarily or to have a archive later to read if the site go down for a long time again ? The answer is obvious I think.

So a short description of this: you told us that what happened in the past is about to happen again and we should save the data, we acted and you became angry because the bandwidth was affected and started insulting Cd_Sharp. Makes any sense ? Not really...

I'm telling you that I know Cd_Sharp for many-many years, he is a very honest and correct guy, very rare in these days. And he is right to leave when he gets insulted for doing the right thing when there was the possibility to happen again what happened before. He talked to me, we discussed about this and the conclusion was we need to act before the site disappear again so if necessary we can share the backup with the members of the team later.

So in the past months we lost YoElMiCrO, Vidura and now Cd_Sharp. The reasons ? Not entirely clear, very questionable, just like in this case. Who's next ?

I simply don't understand why you're destroying the team you created. But if you wish so, so be it.

Regards,

Fighter

Hey Melendor,

Thanks for the feed back! No I have very slow internet, speed test is on the first post, but I hope to have much faster Internet soon, hopefully Starlink will be here soon.

Since sending the Army of bots off into oblivion, we have had a massive improvement in Speed and Access! I am so pleased with the result!

Hey Wistiti,

My Friend, you're welcome to your opinion!

The evidence I see, it is Very Damming! They have certainly not done the Right Thing! At any point! I am Very Disappointed with what they have Deliberately Done, Against My Wishes, they Betrayed me, that's all there is to it!

CD_Sharp Deleting those Threads verifies my assessment! Which I had suspicions of well before the recent events!

They had no Right to bring My Websites to a Complete Stop over Christmas, for nearly two weeks! I said No, they Defied me and created Chaos!

If others see what they have done as Right, or not Wrong, they are also welcome to their opinion! In the mean time, I will have mine, based on Evidence presented here in this Thread!

I see you:

Best Wishes,

A move of desperation to use a Known Non-Event to get what you want, very sad, and all for a following, and then to use information I provided, My Website, to hide little experiments from the public, how sad!

Hello friends.
I just want to give a little feedback that the website is going 1000x better as before , and in the same post want to share my opinion about the statement above.

I do not give names, but I want to talk more in a general view of things.

To TAKE information , food , water , energy etc that was given to you for free ,for the greater good , and try to HIDE it from people , I think that is a sign of Evil.
It is not about sick people or not , it is just pure EVIL.

Also because Bad EVIL people can vote for Evil people , I do not think that it is a good strategy that the entry on Trier II to be made via vote.
At the end of the day Chris, use your common sense and "gut feeling" to decide what people have entry to what parts of the forums.
Intuition has many time brought great succes and innovation.

It is your forum Chris , and we are your guests at your table.
Please do not let Evil people infiltrate overall on the forum.

Stay safe everybody.
We will do it together !

Hello Chris and Friends,

Just now today I saw this thread. Read it all. I agree completely in the post just above, with @Melendor. This is YOUR party Chris! Little did I know eleven years ago that it would grow to the size it is now. From Emails to a second full-blown website. Impressive to say the least. When I logged on to the site today, I was stunned that it popped up in an eyeblink. I thought that the Starlink had arrived! I don't always sign in when I just intend to do some reading. I will from now on since I've learned that it's important.

Some time ago I found an item for sale on Amazon. It was a self-supporting rotor powered by solar cells. The big surprise was that I had seen it here in a video weeks or months earlier. A long video one that showed the construction method. To be honest it pissed me off seeing it on Amazon. The rules for becoming a member of this site are specific and detailed. Not making money off of it was a primary requirement if memory serves. I don't remember if it was a PM or in a post, but I sent the link to be seen so you would know. I'm not overly religious but I see the Ten Commandments as a list of doorways to Evil. If memory..., Everything brought to the site becomes the property of the site. I.E., not for sale to make money. May not have stated that correctly. I've never had a problem with that. In the past and perhaps even now, people were killed off to keep their inventions from becoming public knowledge. Putting everything in the Public Domain keeps you alive! It's too late to keep it secret. Keeping secrets is Not what this site is about. Never has been.

I didn't go to the Proboards.com site for two reasons. Firstly, it didn't seem right to me somehow. Secondly, it had "Free-Energy" in the name. A light for the moths. In fact, Aboveunity.com is the only site I've ever gone to, other than Hyiq.com of course, to be a member of. Something bigger than myself. I made the correct choice.

As Melendor said, trust your gut. It's served you well so far and shall continue to do so. This place here is Yours alone. Don't let anyone try to steer the ship for you. I'm all in no matter the choices you make. We the Members are here by choice and free will in making that choice.

Have a safe and glorious day,

Dale

My Friends

We have had some, what appears to be, routing issues, where my Connection physically could not see the Server.

This is an intermittent issue, it appears, and is then gone. I am investigating, and hope to find the problem soon.

Best Wishes,

My Friends,

I believe a new tactic is in place, to take us off line, interfere with my Internet Connection, is actively occurring!

Major problems lately, please let me know if you know more, but this is a broader issue, not localised directly with my equipment, but the connection itself. I am still investigating, no real data to show what the problem is yet.

Do you know of any other websites that have this much trouble? No you say? I wonder why we have had such trouble?

I am working hard to keep us online, but its not very effective lately!

Let those BioSlushies TRY, but they will always Fail in the END, because that's what they are good at, Failing!

Best Wishes,

Hi Chris.
I do not think that this is an accident.
To quote Master Roshi from DBZ , "" Nothing happens by accident ".
The website in the last month had very good load times...and now , all of a sudden come this problems?

I suspect that the trolls have gathered a small team to cause you trouble.
As you said, they got nothing and their frustration is piling up.

CD_Sharp Deleting those Threads verifies my assessment!

Please keep right to delete a post or a thread only with Admin. User may only delete a post only for a short duration after posting in case of need to correct a mistake, etc.

Some of these threads are still visible on the Internet Archive. Would it be possible to recover and put a PDF copy or such so that current links to them are still valid?

During the last few days when I could not access the site, the error message I got was something like:

"ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. The server took too long to respond. Check your routers and restart them if needed." (from memory as I did not take a screenshot)

Perhaps it may gives you a clue of the type of attack.

Why not make all anonymous access open only for the landing page, and make further viewing subject to registration and login? Would that perhaps help to control misuse?

My Friends,

The Scraping continues, they are now sharing the load accross 2 IP Addresses, and trying to conceal the Scraping by load ballancing the Scrapes.

This is such a desperate move to copy MY Website!

When are they going to relise, I will catch them, Ban them and then Block the IP's! They will not benifet from My Website! Try all they like!

There will only ever be One Aboveunity.com, and thats Us! Youre here enjoying our success right now!

Hey, @Chris,

Generally, AU and HYIQ are offline most of the night time in Australia. When I say generally, I mean almost all the daytime in Europe, almost every day. That is probably around 40% of the time. Also, when they're up they are slow.

Whenever I wish to post something I need to wait for the night to come on my timezone. That is probably the time you are manually bringing them up. I'm sure others are seeing these issues too.

Also, please consider the situation of a newcomer. Imagine such a person reads a post that links to another thread and when following the link, the forum goes offline or times out. Please, imagine the incentive that person feels!

I'm sure you are doing the best you can, but the end result is what we see and can work with.

You had help offers from us, your friends (Jagau, Fighter, me, possibly others). I'm making a new one with support from my buddy, Fighter.

I managed to download around 7 GB (it was more, but it's partially rubbish) of the total 25 GB. Are you ok with hosting this bit statically, online, excluding Tiers II and III ? Are you ok with linking it from the main page of AU.com? Consider the fact that this will also get some traffic off your connection.

I'm offering to update the html of the new pages and the home page html to keep it up to date. This means minimum bandwidth reduction on your connection once every few days.

@Baerndorfer,

is it possible to copy the hole thing to a usb-stick and run the site from it? i would love to buy such a stick.

It is possible as read-only, but I would give it to you for free. If @Chris agrees we can solve it easier.

Stay strong!

Hey CD,

Making the Website Faster and more Stable is the answer, then everyone gets the same information every time. No issues with Out of date Data.

If people want specific Pages then maybe Printing to PDF is a solution?

My Friends,

I think my issue may help others in a similar situation?

I use a custom application to monitor all IIS Connections, via the IIS Logs. Using this information, I look for Connections, or Page Requests that I do not want to occur, that slow me down!

By using IIS Url Rewrite Rules:

NOTE: The three dots ( ... ) indicate other, important Configuration Content, not included for obvious reasons!

This completely disconnects the Client, without having to do any Page Serving or Redirection at all, saying to the Client, you're not welcome to slow me down any more!

Also NOTE: User Agent can Change, however, blocking can be done with and IP or Hostname and other options:

There are thousands of Bots, I have only seen 50 or so giving me issues, some of which are genuine bots, but not wanted! I have noticed a huge improvement in Performance now I have Blocked these Scrapers or Bots!

The trick from now on, is obviously keep monitoring, and keep Blocking as required!

Best Wishes,

Hello Fighter,

I understand your concern about Website and access. I get that, I understand! But its not a concern that you need worry about, its mine!

NOTE: YoElMiCrO and Vidura are still members, even if they no longer post as often, due to other circumstances.

I don't want to loose Members, that's not what I want, but CD chose to leave! So I do not agree with you on this topic! I forgave him, for what he did, but look at the data, there is a MUCH BIGGER picture than just CD choosing to Scrape My Forum, against My Wishes!

Today, I have 55+ Bots Blocked, most may be genuine, but I don't want them! Some are Evil and not Genuine!

Readers saw a public display of me being Cranky, and some may think for good reason? Some obviously do not, but, what's the saying: "Logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." - Spock.

Then, Captain Kirk answers: “Or the one.

This forum is for Everyone!

You and many other members asked for a Backup on many occasions now, and I told you, I can not let a Copy of the site go, I have too many problems to worry about:

  • Legal
  • Ethical
  • Technical
  • and more.

I wish you would just be happy that the Site has been here and running since 2nd August 2021 1:20 PM AEST I just wish you would be happy with the Effort, Time and investment I have made, and some of you have helped with also, to bring back Aboveunity.com and hyiq.org, under the circumstances, its a Mammoth Effort as you know having an IT Background!

Fighter, the fact of the matter is, already, most have learnt what is necessary to make these machines, most people have the required knowledge in their heads, if only people would have a little more faith in themselves, and less in Failed Bureaucracy, then they would be so much better off!

You already have all the necessary answers, and a simple think on a problem and you have solved any issues that may arise, you're very advanced in the field! As are many other Members Here!

There are some that try, there are some that don't, and we have helped everyone, even if they do not yet realise it!

I have the Data, I have Backups of Backups and Backups of that also!

If they take the Site Down, then I will distribute via other methods! I have Plans well beyond Today and current circumstances! You need not worry about this! I have done it once already and we came back! This whole Field can not ever go away now! Too many know about it!

This whole issue is about getting information to people!

Christmas Break, when everyone has some time, to look for answers, is an Important time to have Stable Access, best I can!

We were Crippled during a very important Time!

If CD wants to return, please PM me, I will reactivate his account, until then, I have abided by his whishes, his account has been deactivated. I still consider CD as My Friend, even if we are not currently on speaking terms. Like Jagau said, this thread is more of a warning, of what Not to Do!

Now, I am tired of being harassed about this whole subject! It has wasted so much Time, over a Period I did not want to spend so much Time, away from my Loved Ones!

We all could have been doing much more productive things!

Best Wishes,

   Chris

P.S: its now 18 Hours, 43 Minutes, and not a single Dropout! Amazing isn't it! Do Readers see what's actually going on here? Look from above, see a bigger picture! We still have slow moments, still needs to be solved! But no Dropouts! Spectacular Progress!

P.P.S: Only 0.049% of Site Visits are from Members Actively Logged In! That's a stunning Statistic!

This forum is for Everyone!

That's exactly the point !

The needs of many (which will need that archive later if the site goes down) outweighs the need of the few (maybe 2-3 who could have some interruptions while they're temporarily browsing the site at that time).

Cd_Sharp was doing that for everyone. He was not doing the archive for himself. So if the site goes down again for another X months (as you warned us it can happen) the team will not go in dark again those X months. The team would still have an archive to search in for the data they need.

Believe me, the only reason I was not the one doing this was the simple fact that I was preparing to travel home ! I told him I can't do it at that moment but we need to save the data as we could have limited time before site could go down. I told him we should not let the entire team go in dark again for months like it happened last time, now we could do something about it. So he started saving the data. I repeat, for everyone.

And what he received for doing this effort ? Insults. You understand now why he left ? You would do the same if that would happened to you.

I spoke to him, he will not return. "His wishes" ? What wishes ? He left because he was insulted.

About YoElMiCrO and Vidura, sure, let me know when they will post again.

I never thought I will ever see this happening here...

Fighter, why are you so intent on copying My Websites? Even when you have been told: NO!

Please Man, Please Stop!

I am pretty dissapointed with your Approach to this Topic! You have no right to stop other readers from Accessing My Website because you want it all! No Right!

And now you admit you were working together to do this? WTF MAN!

There truly was no need to bring YoElMiCrO and Vidura into this conversation! Do you think this was a good idea? I am very dissapointed you felt it necessary to do this!

You and CD were told: NO!

You went against My Wishes!

Some FACTS:

  • This is My Forum!
  • These are My Websites!
  • You dont get to make any Administrative Decissions here! frown

This is unbelieveable behaviour! I am very dissapointed!

What is a Scalar:

In physics, scalars are physical quantities that are unaffected by changes to a vector space basis. Scalars are often accompanied by units of measurement, as in "10 cm". Examples of scalar quantities are mass, distance, charge, volume, time, speed, and the magnitude of physical vectors in general.

You need to forget the Non-Sense that some spout with out knowing the actual Definition of the word Scalar! Some people talk absolute Bull Sh*t!

The pressure P in the formula P = pgh, pgh is a scalar that tells you the amount of this squashing force per unit area in a fluid.

A Scalar, having both direction and magnitude, can be anything! The Magnetic Field, a Charge moving, yet some Numb Nuts think it means Magic Science!

The great Nikola Tesla:

Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. This idea is not novel. Men have been led to it long ago by instinct or reason. It has been expressed in many ways, and in many places, in the history of old and new. We find it in the delightful myth of Antheus, who drives power from the earth; we find it among the subtle speculations of one of your splendid mathematicians, and in many hints and statements of thinkers of the present time. Throughout space there is energy. Is this energy static or kinetic? If static, our hopes are in vain; if kinetic - and this we know it is for certain - then it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature.
