I want all interested Members and Readers, to start focusing on Inductance and Electromagnetic Induction with more attention on details!

We have covered Inductance before! Inductance L is the ability for a Conductor to carry a current. Non-Linear Inductance is where the Ability for the Conductor to carry a Current Changes!

Inductance ( L ) is the Rate at which Amperes can flow through the Coil in Time, this is defined as:

L = di / dt

One Henry is where One Ampere transitions the Coil in One Second. With Back E.M.F: 

L = ε / di / dt

Where ε is the Back E.M.F, restricting the Current Flow, created by the change in Current  that produced the E.M.F.

This thread is about the way we think about Inductance!

The Energy Stored in an Inductor is: E_Stored = 1/2 LI²

Where:

• E_Stored = the stored Energy in the Inductance.
• 1/2 = 0.5
• L is the Inductance in Henrys
• I is the Current
• ² is the Squared Function: n² = n x n

The Energy Density in the Magnetic Field is calculated: E_Density = 1/2 B²/μ₀

Where:

• E_Density = the Energy Density of the Magnetic Field.
• 1/2 = 0.5
• B is the Magnetic Field Density
• ² is the Squared Function: n² = n x n
• μ₀ is the Permeability of Free Space.

The Electrical term: "Parasitic Inductance" is just a ridiculous term! If one looks at the Definition of each term:

parasite

an animal or plant that lives in or on a host (another animal or plant); it obtains nourishment from the host without benefiting or killing the host

and,

inductance

an electrical phenomenon whereby an electromotive force (EMF) is generated in a closed circuit by a change in the flow of current

Of course, a more broad meaning is required to truly understand this definition, but you get the idea! The meaning of: "Parasitic Inductance" is, Inductance that is undesirable, in some situations! This means, at times, Electrical Engineers wish to avoid: "Inductance"!

"Parasitic Inductance" is a total Contradiction and is just senseless! There is always an E.M.F if  the Inductance is exposed to Δi / Δt, which is the change in Current over time, or ΔΦ / Δt, which is a Changing Magnetic Field, over time.

Truly, Inductance is:

symbiotic

used of organisms (especially of different species) living together but not necessarily in a relation beneficial to each

Inductance is Symbiotic in Nature! This means, any and all Magnetic Fields Changing in Time, which is analogous to a Current Changing in Time, "Generates" an E.M.F in the specified Inductance! This is true, and will be true well beyond the day that all the Stars in the Universe have burned out!

The only way to avoid said: "Parasitic Inductance", is to isolate Magnetic Fields from the said Inductance! For example a Faraday Cage may come to mind? However, in some cases, this is not enough to completely isolate all methods of Electromagnetic Induction!

Inductance truly is a Force of Nature! We need to realise this, its a very Specific, very Symbiotic and Natural Force! We need to focus on facts here! Its very hard to avoid Inductance in a Circuit, without isolation! So, why not take advantage of this Natural Force?

Electrical Energy, or Power, is V x I cos ( θ ), and Energy, or Joules is Power x Time, so "Generating" an E.M.F is not sufficient, by itself, for either Power or Energy! E.M.F is measured in units of Volts! We need Current, and we may need to correct for Phase Angle, if there is a Phase Angle, to account for Power, and need Time to account for Energy!

This means, we need to: 

1. Generate an E.M.F,
2. and Pump a Current.

Science tries to teach you:

To produce an electric current, three things are needed: a supply of electric charges (electrons) which are free to flow, some form of push to move the charges through the circuit and a pathway to carry the charges. The pathway to carry the charges is usually a copper wire.

The flow of electricity can be likened to a flow of water through a pipe. Water comes from the dam and is forced through a pipe by a pump or by gravity. The supply of water is the dam, the push is the pump or gravity and the pipe is the pathway.

This is a poor explanation, as there is:

1. Not explained that a Change in a Magnetic Field, or a Change in Current is needed!
2. No explanation where Electrons come from!
3. Not explained that a Voltage can be present without a Current Flow!
4. Not explained that a Current Flow is an M.M.F, via turns N: M.M.F = Turns N x Current I x Length l!
5. Not explained that M.M.F will Oppose creating Drag or Negative Effects on your Source!

How to over come the Negative Effects on your Source? It is easy!

Magnetic Fields are Electromagnetic Waves and as are all waves, they follow Superposition Rules! MMF_Primary + -MMF_Secondary = 0, this is Conventional Superposition between two Magnetic Fields in a Conventional Transformer, or "Generator"! 

How to ensure your Primary Coil has no Negative Effects imposed on it? MMF can be negated by Superposition!

Electrons are confined by Atomic Orbitals, which are the Energy Level of the Electrons:

Each Copper Atom having 29 Electrons!

A Free Electron, is an Electron in the Outer Orbital, free to Hop Orbitals! Free to Move, as a Current!

Partnered Output Coils give you Symbiotic Inductances, which have Superposition at its heart, or Asymmetrical Electromagnetic induction! Allowing for no Net Negative M.M.F on your Input Coil!
