Hey, friends, sorry for the long absence.

I wish to continue the work I did here:

http://www.aboveunity.com/thread/akula-s-30-w-lantern-replication

Here is my target:

I believe this is one very important device and it's very similar to the no 4 lantern. Akula added a coil and he did that for a very good reason. I'll be back..

Here is the device video:

and the best shots I could find or extract:

We have the input coil, just like in lantern no 4, with CW orientation from bottom to top.

On top of it is the second coil, also CW.

On the other ferrite leg there is the third coil, also CW. From the magnetic fields point of view, this means the third coil can be wrapped CCW if it's done on top of the input coil. We've seen this already in Lantern No4, the input coil is CW and the output "coil(s)" is CCW.

Guys, I'm naming the coils

L1 is the input coil and it's the one on the bottom, right on the ferrite core. L2 is above.

L1 and L2 have the same orientation and almost the same inductance.

L3 has the opposite orientation, so it's "producing" current. Then what could be the purpose of L2?

Why did Akula split the second coil into 2 different coils?

I also notice the LEDs are blue, they conduct at a slightly greater voltage drop than the white LEDs. Could it be a common reason for changing the LEDs?

Hi all.
I think the phenomenon of energy gain
it is the one that makes reference to N.E Zaev.
I'm investigating it.
I'll tell you when I finish doing it.
Does anyone know which material the core is made of?

Hi, buddy,

I think it's old TV flyback ferrite. The core does not matter that much. It does not have to be the same.

The energy gain in this lantern is, most likely, because of the current interactions that flow through L2 and L3. Some transistors are not only what they seem, they have capacitance.

The LED also is a little more than a diode that can emit light. It has capacitance and it's also like a varistor.

The rest is only experimentation, spending time (which is so hard to find these days for me) to make the two tanks reach LL resonance.

Are the LEDs in series (like in lantern No 4) or in parallel?

It's obvious they are in series, otherwise we would see only the cathode of each LED in the above picture.

He hid the back of the circuit (that's why he added the screw), but he cannot hide the common sense details.

Hi, my friends

I'm waiting for some parts for the Delayed conduction experiment. So, I thought not to waste time, I'm back on this project. Let's see some weird effect. Below the 2 coils I wound another, the same orientation as L1 and I'm using it with just one end connected to the cap anode.

What is going on? The coil is not carrying any current. Now I remember I've seen at least one GLED device with some copper foils open ended.

Why is one end helping and the other working against our device? No idea.

I also remember Chris has a video with some open ended coils:

I felt like when seeing an UFO. If anyone has any explanation, I'm all eyes and ears.

Thanks guys

Hi, everyone

Here is my latest progress:

We have 3 coils, one strictly input, the other 2 are in POC setup. The circuit schema is here .

It's not self running, but I'm very pleased I found a way to bridge the gap between Lantern no 4 and the one in investor meeting.

Next up, I'm thinking on something bigger. Stay tuned..

Thanks guys

Two observations which may or may not be relevant to these types of circuit.

  1. LEDs will rectify any RF impinging upon them with a slight delay due to their internal capacitance especially with switched fields.
  2. I noticed that in at least one of the original circuits there is a ceramic capacitor very close to the ferrite core which also receives a charge via field interaction with the core. (found during a first replication attempt)

So in my opinion the physical layout of the components is also important.

The great Nikola Tesla:

Ere many generations pass, our machinery will be driven by a power obtainable at any point of the universe. This idea is not novel. Men have been led to it long ago go by instinct or reason. It has been expressed in many ways, and in many places, in the history of old and new. We find it in the delightful myth of Antheus, who drives power from the earth; we find it among the subtle speculations of one of your splendid mathematicians, and in many hints and statements of thinkers of the present time. Throughout space there is energy. Is this energy static or kinetic? If static, our hopes are in vain; if kinetic - and this we know it is for certain - then it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature.
